What’s the secret sauce to make content viral on the internet?
The key is to understand the online audience. You often would notice people create a ‘social’ persona. Hence, knowing the other side of people’s personality becomes crucial. It’s a fact that extensive sharing makes content viral on the internet. And, there are three main reasons why someone will share your content. One is the ‘me’ factor. Online users tend to hit the share button if it is relatable. Two, extreme emotions always work! Three, people love to sound intelligent when they are on social media. As a content creator, these are little things that you should keep in mind.
How do you crack a branded content brief?
Typically, we have different content formats. And, when clients approach us we try and create a bespoke storyline. According to me, that’s the best way. You need to approach it with the same content lens.
What’s your piece of advice to clients out there?

Measuring a campaign’s success has to be based on various parameters, and once that’s done, marketers should consider sharing these data points with content creators as well. At the end of the day, you have to build a trusting relationship with platforms like ours. Also, you have lost the battle, if you come to us to make content that looks like an ad.
The internet has been ruled by memes, cat videos and more. What will the next wave of content look like?
That’s interesting to ponder about. I think VR will really be the next big change. It will surely create strong user experiences in the future.
What makes you click the log out from social media platforms these days?
Personally, I want people to be real when they are on social media. How difficult is it to not fake it?
